This automation tip refers specifically to Documents, SDS documents, Learning Records and similar; essentially sections of Donesafe where a record can have a "Due Date" or an "Expiry Date" . It does not refer to actions.
As an example, let's say that you would like to be notified a week before an SDS record expires. This new automation trigger rule allows you to do this.
Let's take a look at how to do this:
- Go to Settings > Automations
- Click [+Add] and select from the list to what section of Donesafe you'd like to. For the above example, I'll select "Safety Data Sheet Register".
- Apply the following rule set.
"Days Before Expiry" > "Less or Equal" > 7
This rule will now fire 7 days before an SDS record expires. Easy!
